We are looking for a hands-on Project Coordinator to join our team in Fort St. John. Working on the Site C Hydro Dam Project, this position is responsible for overseeing daily plant operations and maintenance, guiding the field team, and managing schedules. If you have previous experience within the concrete industry, then this position could be for you

**This position will be working on a 14/7 schedule. **

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee all plant operations while coordinating and monitoring daily workload throughout the plant.
- Record daily use and current inventories of materials to ensure the supply of all materials is adequate.
- Ensure quality control procedures and measures are adhered to for all outgoing cement batches.
- Supervise, motivate, and train field team.
- Visit the batch plant daily to ensure operations are running smoothly.
- Evaluate and monitor project performance.
- Schedule and conduct weekly safety meetings; maintain applicable reports and logs.
- Ensure all personnel follow safety procedures, including the proper use of safety equipment.
- Prepare project reporting for submission to the client and for internal reporting.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience coordinating major construction projects is required.
- 2 years of ready-mix plant operations experience is an asset.
- Post secondary education in a related field such as Engineering, Business, or Construction Management is a strong asset.
- PMP or PMI-CP designation is an asset.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate employees.
- Knowledge of all aspects of concrete production and construction.
- Safety mindset with the ability to instill a safe work culture at the plant.
- Strong project management skills with flexibility to transition to new projects.
- Experience working with software such as Excel and Word.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

**Working schedule**:

- 14/7 schedule
- Rotating night shifts
