**Job Summary**

**10 month contract: 5 months on (Feb - June), off for 2 months (July
- Aug), 5 months on (Sept - Jan 2024)**

Reporting to the Program Manager, the Community Outreach Marketing Administrator will play a key role in this part time position to promote and increase participation in an energy and water conservation program aimed at assisting low-income residents across the province.

**Responsibilities**
Conduct research to identify opportunities to promote the energy assistance program across the province by identifying organizations and individuals who:

- Belong to an income qualifying customer group and are potential participants;
- Will act as Program Champions and promote the programs to their networks, which includes members of low-income customer groups.
- Assist with developing and rolling out a strategy based on research conducted on where to start the engagement efforts and to establish goals and targets for our recruitment efforts
- Once leads are established, perform outbound calls, attend meetings and events, and raise awareness about the program and its benefits
- Develop relationships with Program Champions at local food banks, cooperative housing communities, employment service programs, etc. and provide them with resources they require to help support and promote the program
- Potentially attend community events to promote the program and to sign up participants
- Keep the Program Manager well informed of the status of all deliverables
- Maintain good record keeping, and keep track of progress made with leads generated
- Works according to an established program plan; supports day to day program deliverables as determined by program plan
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
- All other duties as required

**Qualifications**
- Minimum two (2) years customer service experience and/or marketing experience
- Exceptional interpersonal skills (both in-person and in written/ verbal communication) in order to effectively work cross functionally; source information, build relationships, and provide exceptional customer service
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
- Experience working with low-income customers an asset
