**Division info**:
The Landing Gear Market specializes in the design, qualification, manufacture and repair and overhaul of landing gears and flight critical components to a customer base that extends from the OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) to the Operators in both the commercial and military markets.

**Summary of position**:
Debur and polish large Landing Gear parts with hand tools based off the required specifications and drawings.

**Main responsibilities**:

- Deburring parts to tolerances as required.
- Gauging and dimensionally measuring parts to ensure accuracy in deburring process.
- Using air tools such as grinders and polishers
- Understanding setup sheets, tool lists and Operational Detail Sheets.
- Preventative Maintenance.
- 5-S Activities including daily cleaning of work area.
- Pre-start up inspections which incorporate Health & Safety awareness.
- Work closely with other operators and members of other departments to produce a high quality part.
- Works in a positive and productive manner adhering to all company policies and procedures.
- Any other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Min. high school completion.
- Deburring experience considered an asset
- Ability to understand and follow instructions in the English language
- Ability to interact with peers in a positive, professional and productive manner
- Ability to perform deburring functions to a high level of quality
- Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (Ear protection, safety glasses, and safety shoes)
- Significant time standing/sitting deburring parts.
- Significant hand/arm movement using deburring tools
- Must comply with all HD confidentiality requirements and security regulations pursuant to ITAR/CGRP directives.
