**SUMMARY**

Westlake has around 16,000 employees across approximately 40 locations using multiple ERP systems (SAP and JD Edwards).

The IS Technical Supervisor - Network Security is a member of the Technical Services team located in Houston, Texas.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- May include, but are not limited to, the following:_
- Manage people and projects in assigned areas using internal resources and external 3rd party resources as needed.
- Systems design, analysis, support and troubleshooting of responsible solutions and projects in assigned areas.
- Work with internal and external auditors on IT General Controls (Sarbanes-Oxley).
- Oversee and provide direction to team responsible for Identity Management System, used for managing systems account creation, extension, termination, role assignment, and reset self-service
- Drive, implement and manage the transformations and continuous improvement for the enterprise wide information technology services.
- Vendor Management for outsourced 3rd party services for Identity management and other solutions as needed
- Manages support ticket processing for issue analysis
- Oversee the maintenance of a library of system-supporting process and procedure documentation
- Review IT controls for completeness and review findings of the IT controls audit process.
- Manage segregation of duties reviews
- Configuration of security roles and groups for the enterprise
- Tracking and recording of account and associated access rights authorization
- Maintenance of system of controls and support documentation for security access, to ensure that company account security operations are in compliance with company policy and regulations such as Sarbanes-Oxley
- Facilitation of periodic access reviews, run automated programs to deactivate dormant accounts, perform security audits, risk assessment and analysis
- Review of security profile changes to ensure private and sensitive data is protected, and segregation of duties rules are maintained
- Recommending and executing enhancements to data and security systems.
- Helping to formulate security policies and procedures.
- Providing of functional support and troubleshooting of security issues and incidents.
- Coordinating of responses and resolutions of security incidents.
- Creation of weekly change management security log documentation for SAP, including fire call IDs, transports, and background jobs.
- Monitors for potential security policy violations and report to IT Management and recommend corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain appropriate system documentation

**EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS**
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, MIS, Computer Science, Statistics.
- Strong understanding of security administration, security provisioning processes and systems.
- Experience working with vendors providing outside support services.
- 10 or more years of SAP ERP Security experience preferred
- 4 or more years working with External/Internal Audit teams as part of the Network Security team in a SOX regulated public company (preferred)
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills and ability to frame issues clearly for less technical colleagues and customers.
- Experience with data processing flow charting techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication, teamwork, and issue resolution
- Good consulting skills to gather information requirements, and participate in analysis and user interface design discussions.
- Flexible, adaptable with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Excellent organization and follow through skills
- Excellent time management skills and ability to balance multiple job assignments at once
- Ability to produce high quality work in a short period of time with little supervision
- Demonstrates initiative, taking prompt action to identify issues/opportunities and accomplish objectives, going beyond what is required and/or expected.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills - must be able to translate technical concepts into non-technical terms for both senior level management and frontline staff.
- Experience using SAP GRC tools such as Symmetry preferred

**WORK ENVIRONMENT**

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate as normally based in an office. Some of the work may be required in the operating units which can require usage of required PPE including safety glasses, hearing protection
