**MD Agronomist Associate**

This opportunity provides operational support to local Market Development Agronomists (MDAs) in management of large-scale field trial testing and knowledge transfer activities for canola, corn, soybeans, Crop Protection and Digital.

This is a field-based, 16-month term position, with potential opportunity to renew, Winnipeg, Manitoba area.

**What you will do**:

- Provide operational support of large-scale field trial testing program generating commercial seed and crop protection data used to support product positioning, product launches and technical knowledge transfer
- Support MDAs in agronomic training for Territory Sales Managers (TSMs), key retails, independent consultants
- Support MDAs with in-field diagnostic service for seed and crop protection performance inquiries
- Provide operational support for stewarded field programs
- Provide operational support for HSE activities and be compliant with Bayer safety and driving policies

**Who you are**:

- Minimum of a BSc Degree or equivalent in Agriculture or related discipline
- Experience in Agronomy, field development or Agriculture R&D related experience
- Understands basic crop production and agronomy for corn, soybeans, canola, pulses and/or cereals
- Assisted with organizing and executing trial programs
- Familiar with IT systems for data management (SCOUT/similar data management tool experience is an asset)
- Good computer skills
- Possess agronomic technical analytical skills
- Good relationship building and team skills
- Good organization and time management
- Problem solving through analytical thinking and judgments in complex situations
- Experience supporting sales is an asset
- CCA, PAg and/or Order of Agronomist (QC) designation is an asset
