**Team Lead -** **East Metro Act Team and New Dimensions Act Team (Full Time Permanent)**:
**The Role and Opportunity**:
The Canadian Mental Health Association is looking for a **Team Lead** for the **East Act Team Programs**. The Act Teams are delivered in partnership with the City of Toronto and include transitional and permanent housing for individuals who have experienced homelessness. The Team Lead will provide operational support to the Assertive Community Act Teams to deliver enhanced service intensity and specialized supports to individuals living in the community. The Team Lead will also work in collaboration with the Program Manager to meet the ongoing needs of the program. The Team Lead is required to provide statutory holiday, weekend and after hours on-call support to the ACT Teams.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Providing strong administrative and organizational support to teams day-to-day.
- Supporting day to day clinical operations of team in collaboration with the Program Manager
- Working collaboratively with the Manager as an active participant in program development, implementation and evaluation.
- Supporting consultation to internal/external stakeholders on all aspects of program administration.
- Continuously ensuring that the focus of our services achieves excellence both at a strategic and operational level.
- Having a collaborative, open and client-centered approach with clients, families, partners, community stakeholders.
- Being proactive, taking initiative and identifying/implementing quality improvement opportunities.
- Providing administrative support to team members and Program Manager as required.
- Providing Human Resource and administration support to the ACTT Programs.
- Creating and maintaining staff schedules.
- Coordinating IT, Concur and ADP functions.
- Creating and implementing agency and program policies and procedures.
- Provide direct service to clients and families as required

**SKILLS YOU BRING**
- Minimum five years (5) of community mental health experience working on a team with individuals with complex mental health challenges, substance use issues and homelessness.
- Two years (2) of demonstrated leadership experience on a clinical team; including demonstrating effectiveness with designing, planning, leading and change management in community mental health.
- Strong knowledge of recovery principles, harm reduction, social determinants of health
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to a positive learning culture and facilitate the achievement of evidence-based quality care with optimal outcomes.
- Demonstrated human resource management skills including recruitment and the retention of staff.
- Demonstrated collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to develop, manage and evaluate programs/services considering client needs, service delivery inter-relationships and service potential within a complex environment.
- Experience in supporting regulated health professionals, including psychiatry.
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal, communication, coaching and team building skills that facilitate positive interactions among all members of the team.
- Demonstrated strong commitment to safety, best practice and innovation in service delivery.
- Demonstrated experience and proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, TEAMS, Input health, OTN and virtual care.
A car and valid driver’s license is required.
