Our office in **Niagara Falls, Ontario **is looking for an organized, efficient, and skilled **Tool Repair Technician** to join the Fleet, Tool and Equipment team.

**Summary of the Role**:
Reporting to the Fleet, Tool and Equipment Manager, the Tool Repair Technician will perform preventative maintenance and repairs on general construction tools, equipment, and small engines**.**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Diagnose and make repairs on quarantined tools and equipment that are returned to the shop.
- Assist other Tool Mechanics in loading/unloading equipment and pressure washing/cleaning equipment as required.
- Perform maintenance on 2 stroke engines and powered equipment as needed.
- Test and repair hydraulic jacking systems.
- Receive and inventory new tools and equipment.
- Diagnose and repair various power tools such as drills and grinders.

**Key Requirements, Experience and Skills**:

- Certification in forklift operation is required.
- Construction trade or equipment knowledge and/or education is preferred.
- Certificate in rigging equipment maintenance is considered an asset.
- Completion of repair certificate courses and/or programs is considered an asset.
- Experience operating a forklift is required.
- Strong communication skills (written & oral) are required.
- Familiarity with DeWalt, Makita, and Milwaukee power tools is preferred. Previous experience repairing tools in a construction-based environment is considered an asset.
