This is a hybrid role designed to have both an in-store retail service component that will require exceptional customer service skills, on the go problem solving, ability to work as a team, scheduled in-store interior design and colour consultations with customers and a genuine interest in interior design/home decorating. The second component of this role includes being an anchor employee, managing widespread store level operations including customer service logistics, inventory ordering, employee scheduling, delegation of duties and responsibilities.

As vendors of paint, blinds & shutters and garage renovations the applicant will be trained on principles of interior design and must be comfortable in a sales based environment. Educating and informing customers about design options and recommendations as well as generating leads for the sales of blinds, cabinets, countertops and paint jobs for our contractors is an expectation of the role. Bonus pay in addition to the hourly rate will be awarded for all leads that transition into successful business.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

Day range:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Shift:

- Day shift
- Morning shift

**Experience**:

- Interior Design: 1 year (preferred)
- Residential painting: 1 year (preferred)

Work Location: In person

Expected start date: 2024-02-14
