**“OPARC” is a high-volume clinic with 60-100+ patients a day that offers several different medical services including Medical Assessments.**
**Recommended Training and Experience**:
- Diploma/certificate in Medical Office Administration / Receptionist or similar work experience in a medical and/or public service environment
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment required
- Familiarity with medical terminology and electronic medical record systems (Universal Scheduling, Telus eClaims is preferred)
- **The required hours include two closing shifts per week (10 AM - 7 PM), two opening shifts per week (8 AM - 5 PM), and two Saturdays (8AM - 2PM) per month.**_
**Pay & Benefits Information**
- Full-time hourly position
- Starting wage is dependent upon training and experience
**Examples of Duties**
- Greet all patients/visitors to the clinic and answer/direct inquiries
- Schedule and confirm appointments for patients with our office and for specialist appointments including arranging transportation to the clinic
- Contact and schedule potential new patients
- Collect payments as applicable and provide billing information when requested
- Provide office support services, including filing, faxing, scanning documents into the booking system, photocopying, data entry
- Develop professional, respectful relationships with our patients
- Maintain the cleanliness of the clinic
- Billing Extended Health Care benefits
