Encapsulation Technician

- **Experience**:_

You may have worked encapsulating electronics, or you may have previously built small models of airplanes, cars or perhaps have worked in arts and crafts meticulously building your showpiece item. You can now transfer these practiced skills to sophisticated electronics packaging with Lotek.
- **Skills and Qualifications**:_
- Able to conformally coat electronics with various forms of epoxies and glues using plastic or rubber molds when needed. Conformal coating will be applied using dispensing mechanisms, sprays, by painting or by dipping all with qualified instruction.
- Must have excellent eye hand coordination and able to work with miniaturized electronics. Requires excellent vision.
- Ability to do electromechanical assembly and basic soldering.
- Has a desire and associated drive to continuously learn new process and techniques for encapsulation and assembly.
- Works well in a team environment and has a positive attitude.
- Can effectively communicate with engineers on encapsulation matters and peers and perform task following documents and videos.
- Is well organized and can prioritize work and can achieve agreed upon deadlines. Can efficiently multitask while managing priorities.
- Knowledge of handling epoxies such as mixing, curing, applying, storing and its basic mechanical and chemical behaviors are an asset.
- Knowledge using molds for encapsulation is also considered an asset.
