TRAVELERS Canada is hiring for an Onboarding/Underwriting Assistant reporting to the Underwriting Manager this person will be working with our New Home Warranty group in Vancouver and Calgary. He or she is responsible for the day-to-day activities associated with our new portal TRU Builder and will also assist with the acceptance of Builders and Developers of new homes for Home Warranty Coverage. It would be great if this individual is familiar with other related Warranty functions (housing registrations and file storage) and be able to assist (in a support capacity) from time to time.

Job Specifications:- Assist with troubleshooting and provide instructions/guidance to our customers.
- Prepare and issue various forms of contracts to our Builder and Developer clients.
- Manage the records and information for the clients into the system
- Maintain quality control over production of all relevant documents, reference material and certificates
- Develop a sound knowledge of all home registration procedures, including established underwriting guidelines and criteria, documentation standards, technical requirements, and premiuM/Fee collection
- Prepare documentation (i.e., letters, forms, etc.) in a professional manner
- Support the underwriting group with file management and underwriting procedures.
- Responsible for maintaining up-to-date and orderly file system and data systems.

Job Qualifications:

- A minimum of 24 months experience in office administration
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Tech savvy
- Client facing skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Positive and professional telephone manner
- Capacity for functioning well in a team environment with initiative
- Must be self-motivated to meet daily expectations with minimum supervision
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task effectively
- Willing to put forth additional effort and take on extra responsibilities with enthusiasm
