**RESPONSIBILITIES**
The scope of work for this position covers a wide range of responsibilities which include:

- Electrical control panel assembly and wiring
- Mechanical assembly of automated equipment
- Working with our Project Manager and other team members to keep projects on schedule
- Preparing maintenance schedules and creating service reports
- Ensuring that the clients' equipment continues to meet our specifications
- Periodic travel to US & Mexico for on-site installation, start-up support and customer training
- Must be **able to travel on short notice** to field service and emergency calls

**ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS**
- Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Robotics technology or equivalent
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience with building, servicing and troubleshooting industrial components and equipment
- Solid understanding of electrical theory and blueprints
- Strong computer skills that include working experience with Microsoft Office
- Capability of modifying and/or changing mechanical parts as required
- Some experience working in a machine shop environment
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills; ability to dissect a problem and form solutions that meet real-time constraints
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
- Exceptional communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Working experience in automotive industry and electronics manufacturing
- US Visa or Canadian passport is a must. This job requires travel to US for work.
- Valid driver license

**Salary**: $22.00-$35.00 per hour
