about this team
The Power of Educator team is focused on elevating the experience for Educators across the fleet through enabling Omni Educator programs, innovating roles in store, and driving educator engagement strategies through key programs. The Power of Educator team is responsible for a global roadmap that enables the Omni Guest experience strategy and known future experience programs through empowering our educator workforce. This work innovates how we approach educator engagement across a multi-year time span.

**a day in the life**: what you’ll do
- Create and execute communications project plans, timelines, and defined deliverables that shape our culture, drive engagement, and deliver results
- Lead the creation of internal videos, including storyboarding and script writing, prepping speakers, and working with external vendors
- Package communications in a clear and visual way through engaging presentations and graphic design
- Partner with Learning & Leadership and People & Culture to create functional training for implementing Power of Educator initiatives, including maintenance of functional tools and content repositories (i.e., company intranet-youlu)
- Enable learning of key concepts for Power of Educator for retail and SSC leaders
- Maintain and streamline operational processes that support Power of Educator learning & communications
- Partner cross-functionally with teams & leaders across the business including People & Culture, Product, Brand & Community, Technology, and others to Identify opportunities for engagement and collaborate with retail leadership cross-functional teams to execute plans
- Continually improve, measure, and evaluate effectiveness of employee communications strategy and methods

qualifications
- 5+ years professional experience in internal/corporate/employee communications; retail leadership experience an asset
- Excellent verbal and written communication; experience structuring complex communication plans for projects and initiatives that impact thousands of end users across multiple communication channels and platforms
- Experience in corporate communication as part of change management activities and transformation initiatives
- Creates results through collaborationSelf-starter comfortable creating structure and strategy
- Proficient in MS suite of programs (Word & PowerPoint)
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in communications or related field or equivalent experience in similar field/industry
