**First Cook**:
**Job Summary**

Oversee and participate in the day-to-day operation of a commercial kitchen for the residence dining & catering unit, assuming responsibility for leading this designated area of food preparation, food production and catering production.

**Minimum Qualifications**

Completion of a certified cooking program at a recognized college, red seal cook certification, FoodSafe level 1 certificate and a minimum three years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

**Second Cook**:
**Job Summary**

Positions in this classification cook, bake and prepare products in accordance with a menu plan/production list and assume responsibility for an assigned area of meal preparation in a high volume commercial kitchen for restaurant dining.

**Minimum Qualifications**

Completion of a certified cooking program, FoodSafe level 1 certificate and a minimum two years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

**Third Cook**:
**Job Summary**

Cooks and prepares meals in accordance with a menu plan.

**Minimum Qualifications**

Certificate in cooking from a recognized cooking institution, FoodSafe level 1certificate and a minimum one year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
