Printing Technician

**Company Description**

You will be primarily responsible for operating our large format printer and heat press. Other light production tasks may also be assigned such as preparing materials for production.

**Responsibilities**
- Operate large format printer and heat press
- Replace ink cartridges and perform general maintenance
- Meet company quality and production standards
- Troubleshoot errors by following company protocols
- Maintain a high attention to detail to catch quality issues
- Cut materials using a utility knife for production
- Notify staff when printing supplies need to be reordered
- Maintain work area, clean and orderly

**Qualifications**
- Experience operating a large format printer is an asset
- Experience with graphic design softwares is an asset
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Collaborative and team-oriented
- Dedicated to completing the task with a high degree of quality and efficiency
- High attention to detail

**Additional Information**
- Shifts are minimum 4 hours in length due to the printing process. We will work with you to create a schedule that works for you and are flexible.
- Minimum 15 - 20 hours per week
- This is a part-time, permanent position
- Hourly pay is based on experience operating large format printers
- Dental or medical benefits are currently unavailable, but will be introduced in the future (1 - 2 years) as the company grows
- 2 weeks paid vacation

Part-time hours: 15 - 20 per week

**Salary**: $18.00-$24.00 per hour
