**What you'll be doing**:
Responsible for the management and coordination of emergency programs including emergency preparedness, response, and recovery activities on behalf of the Village of Pemberton. This position is a critical member of the Village’s Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) team, acting as the liaison officer in the event of an emergency or disaster.

**What you've got**:

- Knowledge of emergency management legislation, policies, standards and best practices
- Emergency Operations Centre training
- JIBC Emergency Management courses desirable
- Ability to exercise sound judgement and act with tact, diplomacy and discretion
- High attention to detail; ability to proofread, interpret rules and regulations
- Proactive, independent and a strong team player
- Supervisory experience; comfortable coaching others and providing direction
- Proactive and resourceful approach to relationship building
