**THE ROLE**
Under the supervision of the Facility Supervisor, the Recreation Centre Monitor monitors front desk reception and facility. They conduct checks of the facility during shift to ensure safety and takes appropriate corrective action when problems are encountered. The Recreation Centre Monitor patrols the facility to ensure rules and regulations are being followed and ensures access to the facility, equipment and services is by authorized clients only. They open and close the facility in accordance with security regulations.

**QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED** Education, Certifications and Licenses**

High school and some years of experience in a related field

Current CPR and Basic First Aid qualifications

**Experience**

In phone systems and front desk reception

In working with youth

In cash handling

**Competencies, Skills and Abilities**

Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.

**LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS**
English Essential
