POSITION TITLE**:Customer Service Assistant**

BASIC FUNCTION: Responsible for answering phones, completing administrative functions, and coordinating with customers and responding to their questions.

JOB TYPE: Full-time

HOURS PER WEEK: 38-44

WAGE: $22.00-$24.00 (Varies depending on experience)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

- Assisting Customer Service Representatives by answering phones and responding to requests for quotes.
- Gathers information in order for CSRs to quote roofs, walls, floors, and loose lumber/EWP packages.
- Pricing and costing orders for the Sales Department as required after takeoffs are complete.
- Writes up and completes repairs and fixups and sends to engineer for approval.
- Provides information to Account Manager, Design Manager and to customer when required.
- Entering lumber orders for tracking and distributes information as required.
- Organizes information and follows up regarding purchase orders for project extras.
- Assists Canadian and USA salespeople, designers, and Site Coordinator by completing administrative tasks such as filing, printing plans, layouts, truss packages, and completing photocopying.
- Answering questions and scheduling delivery for all non-multi story buildings.
- Prepares various reports and maintains records as required.
- Performs other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- General construction knowledge is an asset.
- Construction Project Management diploma is an asset.
- Must have own transportation.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency in general office etiquette, legible handwriting, and telephone manners.
- Working knowledge of computers and business and software including Word and Excel.
- Demonstrated proficiency in the use of the English language in reading, writing, speaking and transcription.
- Knowledge of Mitek software is an asset. Training will be provided on the required software.
- Demonstrated working knowledge and comfort level in utilizing office machines.
- Demonstrated ability to sit at a desk for up to twelve hours per day, be mobile in the work environment and operate a computer terminal and other office equipment.
- Ability to work shifts and hours mandated by management.

**Salary**: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
