We are looking to enhance our team by welcoming an IT Administrator.

The IT Administrator is responsible for the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of client computer systems, servers, and data security systems.

**Responsibilities**
- Proactively maintain and develop all infrastructure technology to maintain a 24x7x365 uptime service.
- Engineering of systems administration-related solutions for various project and operational needs
- Maintain best practices on managing systems and services across all environments.
- Fault finding, analysis and of logging information for reporting of performance exceptions.
- Proactively monitor system performance and capacity planning
- Manage, coordinate, and implement software upgrades, patches, hot fixes on servers, workstations, and network hardware.
- Monitor and maintain system backups and Disaster Recovery Plan
- Provide input on ways to improve the stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of the environment.
- Collaborate with other teams and team members to develop improvement strategies and deployment processes.
- Manage Hypervisor environment (VMware)
- Internet service and Fortinet VPN firewall security management to promote uninterrupted internet service and security to the company’s IT assets and data.
- Maintain and monitor ERP system (Sage X3) and corresponding SQL server
- Support and facilitate VOIP System
- Manage 3rd Party service providers.
- Work with 3rd party vendors to monitor pricing increases and negotiate for better rates on renewals.
- Maintain Microsoft 365 Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, and Office Software Installations.
- Camera System Maintenance and support for departments requiring exported footage.
- Any other IT related matters as required to support seamless operation of the Taste of Nature business.

**Qualifications**
- 5+ Years previous working experience in a Windows Server Environment
- Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
- In depth knowledge of Windows Server Environments, VMware ESXI, Fortinet, Unifi wireless.
- Experience ins ERP management and SQL server maintenance
- Knowledge and experience in maintaining electronic access security systems
- Solid knowledge of protocols such as DNS, HTTP, LDAP
- Additional Microsoft and Systems certifications will be considered an advantage.
- Strong problem solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work unsupervised for long periods and maintain required workload.
- Ability to work flexible hours when project requires overtime or alternative schedules.

**This job is onsite and not remote.**
