**New Community Credit Union **is seeking a full-time, permanent, Member Advisor.

**What do our Member Advisors do?** You are the first people our members encounter at our branch. As a Member Advisor, you will serve our members through various channels, in person, digitally or by phone. You will help them in whatever they are looking for or guide them to identify the services and solutions they may not be aware of.

**No banking experience? **Not to worry, we have a great training program.This is an excellent opportunity for the customer service focused professional who has **experience in retail, hospitality or financial services**.

**As a Member Advisor, you will**:

- Greet our members and provide them with the services they seek,
- Process transactions,
- Provide troubleshooting and guidance around the use of our technology products or any other challenges a member may have,
- Highlight and promote products and solutions,
- Engage in proactive member communication by participating in outbound calling, credit union promotions, campaigns, and creative outbound strategies,
- Identify suspicious transactions or interactions and respond appropriately.

**What you will need for this role**:

- Customer service experience,
- Sales skills,
- Experience in handling cash and completing financial transactions,
- Tech savviness and a love for technology,
- A desire to learn in a culture that embraces ongoing learning and development,
- Ability to be discrete and maintain confidentiality to respect members’ privacy
- Enjoyment in working with the public - by engaging and helping meet our members’ needs.

**What you should know**:
This is a unique opportunity to join New Community Credit Union team as they transition to becoming a Synergy Credit Union team. We are on an amalgamation journey and you will have the opportunity to contribute to a successful change effort. This will be an interesting time to join a team. Learning is guaranteed You will learn the role as it supports the members today and then keep learning as systems and processes evolve to unify the teams.

**More details**:

- Hours: 37.5 hours weekly. Permanent full-time
- Salary: $42,700 to $53,400 per annum
- This position may be required to travel for training.
