**Superior Fire Control Ltd. is currently hiring**:

- DAYRATE/SUBCONTRACT SAFETY SUPERVISORS based out the Blackfalds, AB area.

Superior Fire Control’s customers keep us busy year-round on long-term projects with camp, live on location, and local work options.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Set up and maintain Superior Fire Control equipment as described in specific procedures
- Conduct regular safety meetings with an emphasis on specific hazards
- Drive company vehicles in a safe and responsible manner
- Maintain and keep vehicles in excellent working order and keep them clean at ALL times
- Be punctual
- Display professional work habits in the shop and on location
- Completion of daily paperwork, such as Vehicle Pre/Post Trip Inspections, Safety Meeting Checklists, ERP’s - this is a must
- Being fit for duty daily and complying with all of Superior’s and/or Clients rules and expectations
- Demonstrate leadership in all aspects of job performance
- Respond to any emergency as per your training
- Must be familiar with Otis gas detection equipment, BW monitoring, and very familiar with H2S air trailer and MSA breathing apparatus

Qualifications:

- H2S Alive
- CSO
- Valid Class 5 license - current abstract required (NO GDL)
- Energy Safety Canada Gas Detect & Flammable Substance preferred
- Standard First Aid with CPR BC endorsed
- Current fit test preferred

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift
- Day shift
- Night shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Blackfalds, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- oil and gas: 1 year (preferred)
