**What is CLASS?**

The Community Living Association for South Simcoe (CLASS) provides services and supports to people with a developmental disability to enable them to live with dignity, maximize their potential for personal growth, and participate in all elements of living in the community. We strive to participate in our communities through employment opportunities, links to education and training, as well as support for local events.

**The Position**:
The Property Maintenance Student Assistant provides support and assistance to the Repair and Maintenance Department. Position will include painting, helping, lawn maintenance and assisting with residential home repairs.

**Requirements**:

- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High School Diploma required.
- Access to Personal vehicle required.
- 3-6 months employment or volunteer experience would be an asset
- Criminal reference and Vulnerable Person's check is required

**Where are we located**:
We provide services in the South Simcoe County area including Alliston, Everett, Cookstown, Bradford, Innisfil and Tottenham. CLASS manages 18 residential group homes across our catchment area with supports ranging from full care, to social support, to significant challenging behaviours. Our day programs operate in Alliston and Bradford and provide an opportunity for the people we support as well as members of our community to participate in fulfilling activities and outings. Employment and person directed planning activities are among the many focuses of our programs.

**Salary**: $16.55 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
