St. Clair College is an internationally recognized, comprehensive institution offering a broad mix of educational and training opportunities in the Windsor, Essex, and Chatham-Kent areas. We are looking for a Manager, Advancement & Community
Engagement to join our management team under the direction of the Vice President, College Communications & Community
Relations.

**The responsibilities of the Manager, Advancement & Community Engagement include, but are not limited to**:
Reporting to the Vice President, College Communications & Community Relations, the Manager, Advancement &
Community Engagement is responsible for the developing, implementing and maintaining all programs and events related to alumni relations for St. Clair College. These duties include facilitating the alumni board meetings, regular event planning, alumni communications, and working with the Alumni Board of Directors to achieve their annual strategic plans. In addition, this incumbent will also be working with the Executive Director of the College Foundation and the foundation office with the
Foundation Board of Directors in achieving their objectives and strategic plans.

**Responsibilities**:
The Manager, Advancement & Community Engagement is responsible for:
1) Alumni Relations: developing and implementing an alumni engagement strategy for the St. Clair College alumni including membership services and affinity partnerships, an alumni strategic plan for growth, manage the alumni office budget and expenditures, as well as revenue generation targets for alumni, and oversees the alumni association executive and board meetings.

2) Advancement Opportunities: advancement of donor relations, the writing of scholarship and donor agreements, proposals, and grants, oversees alumni, donor and other community stakeholder communications, promotional materials, recruits, trains and organizes volunteers for the purpose of implementing community events and manages fund raising and friend raising special events including alumni events, donor dinners and donor receptions.

3) Community Relations: ensures community efforts are complimentary to and supportive of the Foundation’s fundraising initiatives, write scholarship and donor agreements, proposals, and grants to secure funding for the College, manages the college’s relationships with community organizations, represents the college on external committees.

4) College Events: takes the lead in the management of activities and the coordination of special events that may involve multiple departments at the College. Events such as convocations, scholarship awards and other annual events.

5) Develops and maintains a top-notch digital strategy that elevates the College’s presence both locally and globally
