Ruso & Associates is a boutique family law firm located in Oakville.
We are a tight-knit team of twelve members—six lawyers ranging from 2nd to 27th year of call, four law clerks, one summer student, and our controller. Our firm prioritizes close-knit collaboration and camaraderie, even as the firm continues to grow. Junior staff and students particularly benefit from the combination of teamwork and independence on each file, and are encouraged and supported in tasks they might not tackle until later years at larger firms.
We are also looking to expand our team long-term. We have both the capacity and the interest in offering our articling student an associate position.
- Drafting court materials, including pleadings, conference briefs, motion materials, financial statements, net family property statements, affidavits, etc.;
- Drafting contracts, including separation agreements, parenting plans and marriage contracts;
- Support associates and partners in client management by participating in consultations, meetings, calls, and helping to manage client needs;
- Supervising and organizing the collection of financial disclosure;
- Ad-hoc tasks as requested.
**Salary**: From $60,000.00 per year
