This position is a part of the Association of the Academic Staff of the University of Alberta (AASUA).

In accordance with the Temporary Librarian, Administrative and Professional Staff (TLAPO) Agreement, this position offers a comprehensive benefits package found on our Benefits Overview page and an annual salary range of $69,887 - $116,044. This position is also eligible for a market supplement of $12,917 which will be added to annual base pay.

This position has an end date of 8/30/2024.

**Location - **Satellite Faculty offices (Science) at the University of Alberta North Campus. This role is hybrid with a mix of remote and in-person.

**Position**

**Duties**
- Provide in-person and telehealth/virtual counselling and psychotherapy for a broad range of mental health and wellness concerns.
- Collaborate with stakeholders in assigned faculty to identify needs related to student mental health or broad mental health initiatives
- Create and deliver educational, collaborative, or consultative services related to student mental health or broad mental health initiatives, specific to the assigned faculty
- Foster ongoing relationships with faculty and staff in assigned faculty
- Liaise with fellow satellite psychology team for peer supervision and broader collaboration
- Occasionally deliver regular in-services, presentations, and training modules, including to the staff team and to the broader campus community
- Contribute to CCS program evaluation, development, and improvement, with an emphasis towards building services that improve equity, diversity, and inclusion

**Minimum Qualifications**
- A Master’s degree in Psychology (counselling or clinical)
- Registration in good standing with the College of Alberta Psychologists
- A desire to work in a collaborative team environment
- A desire to engage in relationship-building and collaboration with University faculty and staff
- Can work independently
- A personal and professional commitment to building more equity, diversity, and inclusion in psychology, and also CCS workplace and services
- Familiarity and adherence to the Health Professions Act, Health Information Act, Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, CAP Standards of Practice, Canadian Code of Ethics, and the CAP Practice Guidelines for Psychologists
- Comfort working with technology like Microsoft Office and Google Apps, video conferencing software such as Zoom, Electronic Records Management systems for documentation and appointment bookings, etc.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience, and additional specialized training, working with diverse and equity-seeking groups like Indigenous peoples, racialized minorities, LGBTQ2S folks, people with disabilities, and newcomers and/or International students
- Experience creating and running group or individual psychological supports and interventions designed specifically for equity-seeking groups, which could include racialized, Indigenous, and/or LGBTQ2S persons
- A second language is a strong asset in this role
