**Position Summary**:
Strategic Accounts Operations Support works with Strategic Account Managers (SAM) and support team members to manage the following areas; customer re-price process management, customer RFQ’s, and other related Strategic Accounts projects.

**Duties**:

- Proactively work with Applied’s Canadian Strategic Account Managers (SAMs), Field Sales, Corporate Operations and all other support teams to enhance Applied’s revenue and margin growth initiatives
- Work with our Pricing, Chargebacks, and Master Data Management (MDM) teams in order to update all data related to SAP
- Create required reports for the SA team’s needs
- Modify/improve existing SA reports
- Perform support task as required by the SA Operation Manager
- Lead/support efforts to normalize and identify products contained in Strategic Account client Request for Pricing (RFP) data files and repricing exercice
- Provide input into how Applied’s Client RFP processes can be improved and automated
- Work with SAMs/BDMs/field personnel to establish appropriate supplier Chargebacks (CB) for each Client RFP
- Input all required data into SA client customer data files in a timely and efficient manner
- Ensure that the correct landed, rebated costs, gross margins (or mark ups), and price levels are calculated correctly for all primary and alternative suppliers requested/allowed by SA clients during each SA client RFP
- Proactively enhance part number knowledge in primary product Bearing & Power Transmission (BPT) and product Fluid Power & Industrial Maintenance Supply/Maintenance area
- Support the utilization of tools and processes, that that can improve Applied’s quotation and pricing activities
- Track the time associated with SA product identification, costing, CB, margin development, pricing and field interaction activities
- Communicate with clients as required to support the development of an accurate SA client RFP response
- Other activities as required

**Required Technical Skills, Knowledge and Competencies**:

- Experience with SAP Pricing modules is a asset
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel(Good at manipulating data within spreadsheets and databases)

- Goal and results oriented individual who can juggle priorities in a fast paced environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Must be able to set priorities, manage and organize a diverse set of job responsibilities, and work within deadlines
- Positive can-do attitude, team player
- Strategic thinker with a strong business analytic skill set (think outside the box)
- Industry knowledge in wholesale or distribution
- Able to work independently
- Exhibits leadership skills to others within the group
- Attention to detail and accuracy is essential
