**Position Overview**:
The Legal Counsel will have 1 to 3 years of experience working at a major law firm and/or large corporation supporting various business units by advising on a wide variety of matters ranging from negotiating commercial contracts, litigation management, administrative reviews to advising on a variety of areas of law, including general corporate law, privacy law, consumer protection laws and regulatory compliance affecting motor vehicle dealerships.

**Requirements**:

- 1-3 years of relevant post-call experience at a leading law firm and/or large corporation.
- Strong willingness to learn and self-starter.
- Ability to work very independently and collaboratively with a broad range of external and internal stakeholders is essential.
- Member in good standing of the Law Society of Ontario, the Law Society of Alberta, Le Barreau du Québec, the Law Society of British Columbia, or The Law Society of Manitoba.
- Excellent drafting and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple competing tasks in a high-pressure, high-paced environment
- Litigation experience considered an asset.
- French language proficiency would be an asset, but is not a requirement.
