**General Description**:
The Dze L K’ant Friendship Centre is seeking an Indigenous Seamstress who has the ability to work with a variety of materials, patterns, têxtiles, techniques and machines
**Competencies & Requirements**:
- Will create a variety of Indigenous items such as: clothing, household materials and cultural supplies
- Will ensure that sewing machines and other equipment are in good working order
- Will alter and or repairing Indigenous garments and other articles
**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 15 per week
**Salary**: $30.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Smithers, BC V0J 2N0: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
**Experience**:
- sewing: 1 year (preferred)
