The Tree Planter position is responsible for the planting of seedlings and larger stock trees throughout the Kettle Creek watershed. The position reports directly to the Forest and Soils Conservation Supervisor or the Stewardship Program Supervisor. The rate of pay is $16.63/hr.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform other duties, which may be assigned by the Forest and Soils Conservation Supervisor or the Stewardship Program Supervisor.
- Conduct work in a safe manner, ensuring KCCA’s health and safety policies are adhered to at all times.

**Requirements**:

- Work experience in landscaping, farming, nursery operation, tree planting or forestry.
- Must be able to follow instructions and work with mínimal supervision.
- Must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Able to work as a team player.
- Possess a valid Ontario Driver’s License.
- Possess a secondary school diploma.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 5 weeks

**Salary**: $16.63 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Work Location: In person
