Furniture Market is a locally owned and operated retail furniture store located in the busy Kelsey Drive shopping area in St. John’s, NL. We are currently searching for a Sales and Marketing Representative to join our experienced and highly engaged team. This new role will have strong emphasis on growing the business through developing new sales channels and creating and maintaining relationships with customers.

We are seeking a dynamic and versatile individual to join our team as a Sales and Marketing Representative for our furniture store and interior design company. This role requires a combination of marketing expertise and a proactive approach to generating sales leads and building strong relationships with clients. If you have a passion for marketing and sales this could be the perfect opportunity for you

**Primary Job Tasks**
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote furniture and interior design sales.
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers and trends in the industry.
- Build and maintain relationships with consumers and industry professionals.
- Attend industry events, and networking opportunities to generate sales leads.
- Collaborate with the current team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure client satisfaction.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the growth of the company.
- Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, business-to-business (B2B) visits, and digital marketing and sales initiatives

**Requirements**:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think creatively and develop innovative marketing strategies.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with excellent time management skills.
- Experience in marketing and sales, preferably in the furniture or interior design industry would be considered an asset
- A strong growth mindset
- Knowledge of digital marketing platforms and tools.
- Familiarity with interior design concepts and trends is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.
