A career in Finance at National Bank means participating in the transformation to have a direct impact on the customer. As a Chief Data Analyst, you will participate in the integration of data for large-scale projects and help solve complex issues in a business intelligence environment. You will be part of the continuous simplification, automation, continuous improvement of processes as well as the valorisation of data.

**Your role**
- Work in collaboration with various stakeholders with different mandates and expertise (data, finance, technology, etc.) and ensure ongoing communication
- Collaborate in projects and initiatives to develop data integration and data exploitation solutions
- Participate in the implementation of a data strategy to propel Finance sector into a consulting role
- Understand, translate and document stakeholders' data needs and modelized data flow
- Ensure data integrity and quality
- Promote compliance with the Business Intelligence standards established by the organization

This position reports to the Data Manager of the Business Intelligence of the Finance sector whose mission is to contribute to the improvement of decision-making based on advice and solutions to make use of the wealth of data and accelerate the Bank's evolution.

**Required skills**
- Bachelor's degree, related to the industry and 10 years of relevant experience or completed Master’s degree, related to the industry and 7 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of data management and analysis (e.g. data requirements definition, business rules and metadata documentation, master data management, value lists, data quality)
- Experience in project delivery
- Experience in data modeling (business conceptual)
- Positive, innovative and committed professional
- Ability to evolve in a changing environment
- Strong collaboration and cooperation skills
- Good analytical and synthesis skill
- Leadership, influence, initiative and ability to manage priorities
- Bilingual (spoken/written) French and English for dealing with English-speaking partners outside Quebec

**Preferred skills**
- Knowledge of banking and financial institutions
- Knowledge of analytical tools such as Power BI, SAC or Tableau
- Experience with a data documentation tool (e.g. Collibra)
- Knowledge of accounting concepts
