**Reports to**: Vice President, Investments & Development

**Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Asset manage existing residential and mixed use real estate development projects. Collaborate with development, construction, sales and marketing, and leasing teams to ensure successful achievement of project milestones.
- Lead the underwriting and financial due diligence process for residential and mixed-use investment opportunities, including pro-forma creation, financial analysis, market research, risk assessment, and preparation of submissions for investment committee and board approval.
- Manage the financial performance of the residential development portfolio, including tracking budgets, forecasting cash flows, and analyzing investment returns.
- Participate in the selection of financial sources, structuring deals, and negotiating documents.
- Provide guidance to junior members of the team.
- Develop detailed corporate reporting and presentation materials while working in collaboration with other team members.
- Develop and implement investment strategies that align with the firm's overall goals and objectives.
- Monitor and analyze market trends and competitive activity to identify new investment and development opportunities.
- Review, summarize, and incorporate third party analysis (i.e. engineering, cost consultants, geotechnical reports, etc.)
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including partners, lenders, brokers, and other industry professionals.

**Qualifications & Competencies**:

- Bachelor's degree in finance, real estate, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in residential real estate investment and development, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong financial modeling and analysis skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to senior management and investors.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- In-depth knowledge of the Toronto real estate market and regulatory environment.
