Truck Driver/equipment Operator/technician Assistant

Ancoma Scales is looking for someone who wants to join an established company in a stable industry. We have been serving Alberta's weighing needs for over 45 years and want to add a truck driver/technician assistant to our workforce. This is a hands-on, in the field job that will provide you the opportunity to work in many different environments and experience a variety of situations.
**Specific Duties and Responsibilities**:
- drive 5 ton and pick up trucks;
- operate a knuckleboom crane;
- operate a bridge crane;
- assist the scale technician with moving equipment and calibrations;
- maintain the service vehicles and equipment;
- maintain the inventory on the trucks;
- and interact with customers in a positive manner.
- at least a class 3 Alberta driver's license;
- a clean driver's abstract;
- good English verbal and written communication skills;
- be able to travel in-town and out of town (in company provided vehicles), including overnight travel (expenses will be covered);
- be available to travel out of town overnight on a regular basis;
- be physically able to lift and move 50 lbs to 100 lbs repeatedly;
- and have a positive attitude and follow instructions well.
This position is with a south central Edmonton company and is ideal for someone looking for long-term, steady employment.
**Salary**: From $27.00 per hour
