As a territory sales coordinator, you will assist in the business development efforts of 5 wholesaling teams and will work closely with the national inside sales manager with multiple tasks involving sales reporting and territory management.

You assist members and clients and help maintain business relationships. You carry out sales, sales support and client relations activities for specific products and services or in response to information requests in accordance with current practices, tailoring your approach as needed. You draw on your interpersonal savvy and communication skills to ensure member/client satisfaction and service quality in accordance with the organization’s standards and procedures.

General Information on the Position

Main responsibilities- Assist RSD/RSC in strengthening relationships with Investment Advisors through business promotion activities. Proactively plan and organize activities such as client appreciation events: golf, dinner, theatre, sports events on behalf of your team, with the assistance of Marketing- Administer dealer support requests based on approval from RSD/RSC, taking ownership over the co-op marketing process from start to finish. Ensure compliance with National Instrument 81-105 Mutual Fund Sales Practice Rules by following Desjardins’ policies & procedures- Act as a conduit to all sales/marketing activities to ensure maximum impact in the defined sales territory. This includes “championing” service issues, preparing the RSD/RSC for one-on-one meetings and branch presentations, fulfilling “promotional item” requests and marketing material requests, and quarterbacking sales lead and follow-up programs- Administer a budget and sales/marketing plan on behalf of team, maintaining accurate and current records as well as reviewing expense reports- Help the team with investment proposals, portfolio comparisons and product comparisons.

**Qualifications**:
- Attestation of College Studies in a related field- A minimum of two years of relevant experience- Experience in business, sales and/or marketing- Experience in the investment industry

Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered- IFIC mutual funds course or CSC- For vacant positions available in Quebec, please note that knowledge of French is required

Specific knowledge- Advanced knowledge of English and French due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
