Overview:
We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic Summer Student to assist with our non profit Community Outreach Programs. This is a paid position that offers valuable experience in community engagement and program management. As a Summer Student you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the community while developing essential skills for your future career.

**Duties**:

- Assist in planning, organizing, and implementing community outreach programs
- Collaborate with team members to develop strategies for engaging the community
- Conduct research and data collection to support program development and evaluation
- Assist in marketing and promoting community outreach programs through various channels
- Deliver presentations and public speaking engagements to educate the community about our programs
- Recruit volunteers and participants for community outreach events
- Provide administrative support, including maintaining program records and documentation
- Assist in supervising and coordinating volunteers during community outreach events
- Contribute to project management activities, including scheduling

**Skills**:

- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire others
- Excellent administrative skills with attention to detail. Microsoft Office skills.

Excellent in Customer service.
- Effective public speaking and presentation skills

FLUENT AND PROFICIENT IN ENGLISH - SPEAK, LISTEN, WRITE
- Experience in data collection and analysis techniques
- Ability to market programs effectively to target audiences
- Project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Passion for community engagement and the ability to educate others about our programs
- Experience in recruiting and supervising volunteers is an asset

Must be a student returning to school in the fall and qualify for the government under age 30 summer student program. Must have your own car and clean criminal record check.

This is a temporary summer position that offers valuable experience in community outreach programs. **Salary**: $16.00-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week

- Monday to Friday
