Vice President of Operations

**Position Description**:The Vice President leads the University’s efforts to identify, recruit and admit the optimal number and quality of traditional and non-traditional students for Beal University. The Vice President will provide leadership for Admissions, Marketing, Registrar, Student and Career Services. Reporting directly to the President, the VP of Operations is an active member in the University’s planning and policy discussions and provides leadership in the design and implementation of University wide marketing, recruitment and enrollment practices that advance the mission and the goals of the University.

**Job Duties**:Provide leadership for the University’s enrollment management efforts and leadership for all student service functions including but not limited to Admissions, Marketing, Registrar and Records, Student and Career Services departments as related to the essential functions of the University.
- Leads highly productive enrollment management unit, including overseeing the recruitment, management, training, retention and evaluation of highly qualified professional and support staff.
- Develops and implements a University strategic enrollment plan; fosters strong relationships with on and off campus constituents to enhance student outreach, enrollment, retention and graduation.
- Consistently ensures the delivery of quality and responsive programs and services through effective assessment of outcomes of enrollment management programs.
- Coordinates Marketing efforts to increase student enrollment through strategic marketing and branding.
- Monitors the progress of wide range of programs and strategic initiatives and keeps the President apprised of their status.
- Work as collaborative member of the senior leadership team to provide strategic vision, leadership, planning, program development and implementation and budget management.
- Ensure admissions team is successful in generating awareness about Beal University and enrollment growth/recruitment, targeting students interested in our program offerings.
- Provide direction in collection, organization and analysis of data in order to monitor the success of the recruitment and retention programs.
- Consistently review key performance indicators of all marketing channels, evaluate and revise on an as needed basis.
- Ensure maintaining compliance with industry regulations.
- Completes weekly reports and submits to the Campus President.
- Assist in the integration of current and future technology tools that support creative approaches to provide efficient and effective recruitment and admissions processes (Virtual Admissions, CRM, etc.).
- Utilize available data analysis for decision making and planning and for the development of enrollment.
- Other duties as assigned by the Campus President.

**Education and Knowledge**:

- Bachelor’s degree. 5-7 years related work experience or a combination of education and experience within an educational institution with senior leadership management experience.
- An understanding of best practices in enrollment management, data driven decision making and demonstrated success in an enrollment management role.
- Experience creating a supportive environment for students particularly as they transition to higher education life.
- Ability to collaborate with internal and external constituents and represent an institution to a broad segment of academic communities.

**The position is expected to commence in June.**

**Remuneration/Compensation**:Commensurate with experience.
