As part of the accounting team, the accounting technician will play a crucial role in managing real estate properties in all aspects accounting and management. The real estate accounting technician will report to the Senior accountant as well as the Director of Financial reporting.

**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Entering bills into the platform
- Process and payment of accounts payable
- Verification and updating of supplier contracts
- Maintaining the rent roll
- Updating rent rates for tenants
- Issuing of tenant invoices and forwarding them to tenants
- Preparing CAM calculations and invoicing tenants
- Recording payments from tenants
- Monitoring of accounts receivable and collection
- Management and payment of expense accounts
- Carry out bank reconciliations reconciliations
- Preparation of sales tax reports
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports
- Assist in the preparation of yearly financial statements and reports
- Maintain ongoing relationship and communications with tenants
- Support the senior real estate accountant in various other tasks

**OUR OFFER**:

- Permanent position, 35 hours per week
- Employer located in Montreal (Ahuntsic-Cartierville)
- 2 weeks vacation, 4 sick days and 1 personal day

**OUR REQUIREMENTS**:

- College diploma in accounting
- Five (5) years of related experience in general accounting preferably in real estate accounting
- Knowledge of French and English
- Strong knowledge of Excel and Sage Accounting
- Autonomous, reliable person with respect for confidentiality
- Ability to set and manage priorities accordingly
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
