**Travel Advisor’s Assistant**

32-40 Hours Per Week | Pay to commensurate with experience

This position has been designed to support all Travel Advisor functions and administration functions of the office. This person must be very personable and amiable, a quick learner, self-motivated, and be able to handle tasks from a variety of sources at once.

Familiarity with MS Office, and the ability to easily learn software is an asset.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Assisting with quotes to send to clients
- Assisting with confirmations for clients
- Adding bookings into our database
- Sending and tracking waivers and any other communications we require from clients
- Contacting clients with travel details as required
- Providing information for, and assisting with the requirements for various travel visas
- Providing information for, and assisting with the requirements for vaccinations
- Completing booking forms
- Ensuring that all proper documentation is attached to files
- Researching and possibly booking air, hotel, and other travel services
- Calling clients with upgrade opportunities

Secondary Responsibilities:

- Answering phones and general back back-up to reception, including recording messages
- Backing up Travel Advisors as a client resource
- Selling cruises and travel packages, if and when trained to do so
- Ordering office supplies
- Assisting with any other role as requested. This may include reception, office administration, and any of the package team functions.
- Booking air, hotel and transfers for our Package Fulfillment Team, along with: Providing documentation for packageso Helping to research, book, and manage hotel groupso As above for group airo Helping to provide manifests for group travel to our supplier partners

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour
