Responsibilities include:

- Delivering a high quality customer service to patients and their families, physicians, and other vendors
- Administrative duties as they relate to the regular running of the office during operational hours. Tasks such as answering and triaging phone calls, making order supplies, greeting clients as they arrive to the office.
- Communicating clearly when booking appointments, relaying messages for the physicians as they related to patients and their files, and with other members of the medical team.
- Coordinates referrals and order diagnostics for patients as directed by the physician.
- Responsible for maintaining patient files so that they are up to date and maintaining all information in strict confidence. Comfort in using EMR - Electronic Medical Record systems (use of Accuro EMR would be an asset)
- Taking patient vitals prior to seeing the physician
- Preparing exam rooms with needed supplies and assisting if needed during patient exams
- Communicate clearly and effectively to clients and their parents/caregivers.
- Complete other tasks as requested

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications:

- Post-Secondary education degree in Business administration or in the Sciences strongly preferred
- One to two years of experience working in a medical office is strongly preferred
- Keen understanding of medical terms, common medical practices, and procedures as they relate to patients and the healthcare system
- Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong work ethic as well as dependable and reliable
- Strong organizational abilities
- A current police check is required upon start
- Ability to communicate in Tagalog considered a strong asset

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
