Health Solutions Producer

This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our Toronto, London, Windsor, Ottawa or Burlington offices.

What the day will look like
Based on a list of new logo targets (e.g., internal referrals, local market target clients, RFP, roundtable, global clients, etc.) the individual would generate meetings for the practice, create sales opportunities and close deals
Identify marketing opportunities and work with Marketing & Communications team to execute on them
Building relationships with US and other Global Health, Commercial Risk and Wealth Solutions colleagues to generate opportunities for the practice
Develop Aon IQ and Health Solutions acumen to position Aon’s differentiated value with prospects and strong understanding of all current and emerging solutions
Developing relationships with client prospect decision makers
Provide guidance, mentoring and support to Relationship Leads in developing sales acumen and sales activity, supporting the Relationship Lead in the contracting of a new client, confirming revenue for the work performed
Supporting the development of marketing campaigns and market facing communication/sales strategies to enable the business to win
Drive and expand brand awareness by identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to expand market awareness, driving demand for consulting services, and increasing revenue of the Health Solutions practice
Will not have any direct client responsibilities, but may have ongoing client relationships to foster referrals or other new business pipeline
Support all defined markets in the producer’s territory - e.g., central region producers will need to dedicate a portion of their time, pipeline and targets to local markets (Windsor, London, Burlington, Toronto, Ottawa, etc.)
Diligent CRM through Aon Connect, regular contact with prospects, and maintaining a pipeline to achieve sales targets for the year

Skills and experience that will lead to success
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a sales focused role or environment;
Life Insurance License (LLQP) required or progressing toward the completion of the Life License;
Demonstrate strong business development acumen
Demonstrated ability to lead business development activities and projects;
Detail and results-oriented; able to balance multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines;
Ability to establish relationships at the senior management level with existing and prospective clients for purposes of understanding the short / long-term needs of clients, identifying business development opportunities and negotiating and closing consulting assignments;
Strong presentation and communication skills
Ability to employ exceptional internal relationship development skills in order to navigate within the firm
Proven ability to remain current with respect to industry trends, provincial and federal legislative policies and changes;
Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills in developing solutions for complex client / business issues and leading through influence;
Proficiency in identifying and clarifying customer needs to develop solutions; clear understanding of how to develop new business by utilizing value or solution-based positioning.
Must be persuasive, forward-thinking, progressive, energetic, and disciplined;
Must have a positive attitude combined with a desire to contribute to the success of Aon;
Travel is required and access to a personal vehicle.
University degree and completion of CEBS / FLMI / LOMA designation is preferred
