We are looking for someone who is reliable and trustworthy to receive and process food orders from purveyors, prep menu items including making sauces, making pizza dough, and prepping fresh, seasonal ingredients for our current dinner menu and the addition of our lunch menu in the spring.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in meal preparation and cooking according to recipes and guidelines provided
- Ensure food safety and proper handling of ingredients
- Help with inventory management and stock rotation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Follow all health and safety regulations

**Skills**:

- Experience as a prep cook or in a similar role within the food industry
- Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and food safety standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Flexibility to work in different areas of the kitchen as needed

Hours/Days: 3 days/week to start moving to full time in the spring

**Salary**: $18/hr + tips

**Job Type**: Part-time
