Delivery Driver, Warehouse Worker, and Canning Operator

ROLE

This is a full-time position at Gladstone Brewing Company. The main duty will be delivering beer up and down Vancouver Island. The other aspects of the job assisting in canning operations and helping move inventory in our warehouse areas.

The Delivery Driver part will consist of 3+ days of deliveries to our various accounts on Vancouver Island.

As a Delivery Driver, you will be expected to load the delivery vehicles efficiently for the delivery days, organize all documentation for delivery days, and represent the brewery in a professional manner while doing deliveries.

As a Canning Operator you will help in the process of canning beer on our automated canning line. This will involve loading pallets with full flats of beer, helping load empty cans into our automatic depalletizer, and assist the Packaging Manager in running the canning line.

As a Warehouse Worker, you will help organize the pallets of full cans and kegs in our walk-in coolers.

You will also help organize storage areas, insuring they are clean and well organized.

Warehouse Workers are also responsible to help insure that the lounge and patio are well stocked on beer for the

FOH operations and off-sales.

Qualifications/Requirements
- Class 5 drivers lisence.
- Forklift operating certificate.
- Ability to lift 120lbs
- Excellent communication skills.
- Passion for the Craft Beer Industry.
- Obsessive attention to detail.
- Ability to work varied hours.

Pay: - Salary between $20 and $24 per hour.
- Health and Dental Plan Spending account (covering 100% up to $1500 per year).

Supervisors: Packaging Manager, Warehouse Manager, Sales Manager, Ownership.

Job Description (Delivery Driver, Warehouse Worker, Canning Line

Operator)

The Delivery Driver, Warehouse Worker, and Canning Line Operator’s duties will include all of the following (plus any other tasks they may be asked to perform by their managers and ownership):
Delivery Driver
- The primary responsibility for this position is a delivery driver.
- It is anticipated that deliveries will require 3+ days a week.
- Delivery days include getting the sales orders from the Sales Manager, using the orders to load

the delivery vehicle in an efficient manner, organizing all required documentation for deliveries,

and delivering the product to our accounts in a professional manner.

Warehouse Worker
- As a Warehouse Worker, the responsibility is to help organize the warehouse and cold room

storage areas in an efficient manner.
- This requires the use of a forklift, electric pallet jacks, manual pallet jacks, and hand carts.
- As a Warehouse Worker you will be moving pallets of beer and kegs
- You will also be moving individual flats of beer and kegs weighing up to 120lbs.

Canning Line Operator
- Gladstone Brewing Company has a fully automated canning line that can run at speeds of up to 55 cans per minute.
- As an operator, this job requires taking packaged product off the canning line and stacking this

product on pallets for storage.
- The operator will also be expected to help the Packaging Manager do maintenance on the

canning line, help with line malfunctions, and help troubleshoot issues that may arise.

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
