Galaxy Motors/Galaxy RV is looking for a dedicated, experienced and enthusiastic Automotive Dealership Controller with in-house automotive dealership experience responsible for managing the overall financial operations of our dealerships.

The Controller provides accurate information including analysis, budgeting, forecasting and preparation of financial reports. The Controller will also be responsible for directing and managing the company's accounting functions, including establishing and maintaining accounting principles, practices, and procedures as well as the preparation of financial statements and reporting to top management and externally. The Controller will maintain the company's accounting systems and implement changes as required. Galaxy Motors offers a competitive salary package and an incredible work environment.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Oversee all accounting activities of the auto dealership and manage the financial reporting processes
- Integrate and streamline accounting systems and processes including PBS, RISE and CRM
- Consult on business operations fundamentals to recommend areas for improvement
- Preparation of dealership monthly statement and account reconciliation, and all month end tasks required
- Year End - prepare all entries and create a package/binder for audit purposes for outside accounting firm
- Review and supervise accounting staff with deal processing & AR/AP functions
- Bi-weekly payroll processing/hourly/commissions
- Prepare GST/PST/WCB/Payroll/Corporate Tax remittances
- Bank Reconciliation/Floor Plan Payouts
- Other related duties as required or assigned

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting (an asset)
- CPA/CA designation
- Experience with PBS would be considered an asset
- Experience in an automotive accounting role would be considered an asset; and
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Proficient knowledge of Office 365, especially Word and Excel.
- Experience in growing companies
- Excellent teamwork and ability to work well with various levels of staff and management.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills
