- About the roleThe Network & Network Security Manager will be responsible of a team of professionals that operate and support every aspect of IFC network and its security. They implement and manage the network infrastructure, including components like switches, routers, firewalls, etc. They perform operational activities and work in strategic planning for medium and long-term projects in line with the business requirements and IFC objectives.
**Responsibilities**:
- Provides leadership and demonstrates a solid understanding of network and network security concepts.
- Accountable for expected business results, oversees day-to-day activities, fosters teamwork, and guides employee training and development.
- Leads a team operating IFC network infrastructure and services and its security.
- Manage and promote the network service catalog across the IT organisation.
- Manage the operational delivery of the services under its responsibility.
- Manage and optimize the relationship of vendors service levels.
- Participate in the forecast and budget activities.
- Oversees the HR aspects of the team (onboarding, training, objectives, evaluation, career plan, etc.)
- Continuously looking for improvements.
- Qualifications**Qualifications**:
- Solid understanding and knowledge of Network Infrastructure (LAN, WIFI, WAN)
- Solid understanding and knowledge of Network Security (Next-Gen firewalls features, Zero-Trust Network, SASE, DDoS)
- Good understanding of Cisco ACI
- Good understanding Cloud services (IaaS, PaaS and SaaS).
- Strong interpersonal communication and diplomacy skills.
- Organized and able to work well under deadlines in a changing environment.
- Ability to lead teams of diverse experts.
- Outstanding communication and leadership.
- Excellent organizational sense and time management.
- Creative and open mindset.
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Pragmatic and structured documentation.
- Bilingualism required (French, English)
- Good understanding of agile and lean methodologies.
- Eager to explore new technologies and being innovative.
**Experience / Education**:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or any related field, or equivalent education required.
- At least 5 years of team management experience in network and/or network security in large environments.
- ITIL v4 and PMP certification, nice to have.
- Any other pertinent certification.
