**_We currently seek highly motivated and experienced Pool Servers to join our dynamic team._**

Given the nature of Langdon Hall as a unique, luxury boutique property, the Pool Server will serve as an ambassador for the Hotel and be a multi-functional individual who is driven to always exceed guests’ expectations with an attention for detail. This individual possesses strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude towards their work and their fellow colleagues while handling pressure situations which require a quick and efficient thinker as they occur.

**Requirements**:

- Provide a consistently exceptional experience for all guests
- Offer guests knowledgeable, personalized service
- Ensuring excellence in guest satisfaction by maintaining a positive and committed “Do Whatever It Takes” attitude.
- Maintain the physical appearance of the Pool area and work stations, Pool tables, including table linens, napkins, silverware, table setup, centerpieces, menus and perform closing duties.
- Maintain acceptable attendance record, as well as meet Health & Safety requirements.
- Perform other duties as required.

**Knowledge and Skills**:

- Minimum 2 years in a food and beverage role, with 1+ years in a similar role.
- Thorough knowledge of fine dining service procedures and functions.
- Excellent knowledge of food and wine pairing.
- Smart Serve certified, _required._
- Ability to communicate with, understand, empathize with, work with and be tolerant of guests, peers, supervisors, and other outside contacts.
- Ability to read, write, communicate and comprehend verbal and written instructions in English.
- Ability to be accurate, concise, detail oriented and make independent decisions.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Effective time management skills to organize and prioritize workload.

**Physical Demands**:

- Must be able to bend, twist and extend from the waist and reach from the shoulder as well as pushing and pulling frequently every shift.
- Must be able to walk, stand, climb stairs and carry supplies for the extent of each shift.
- Must be able to manage frequent interruptions and multiple tasks daily.
- Attention to detail and visual concentration required which may cause mental and physical strain.

**Must have own transportation and be eligible to legally work in Canada.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

**Salary**: $16.55 per hour
