Journeyman Carpenter

**Job Summary/Responsibilities**

Completion of some site-specific tasks such as;
- Demolition
- Framing and layout
- Finish Carpentry
- Door and hardware installation
- Concrete forming and finishing
- T-Bar Ceiling install
- Drywall boarding and taping
- Cabinet Installation
- Reading plans, following instructions and asking questions to ensure the scope of work is achieved.
- The ability to plan and efficiently complete assigned tasks
- Working with mínimal supervision
- The ability to work alongside other trades
- Knowledge of workplace safety requirements, and a strong commitment to completing all required safety documentation.
- Practice good housekeeping discipline on the job, which includes daily clean-up, organized tool and material storage and trash removal, to ensure a safe, non-cluttered workplace.

**Qualifications**
- Journeyman Carpenter Certificate is an asset
- CSTS
- Strong communication skills
- Level C/AED First Aid
- WHMIS
- Ability to efficiently use technology and programs, for the completion of required documentation and communication
- A valid driver’s license
- Any other construction safety training is considered an asset

**Salary**: $20.00-$40.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- carpentry: 3 years (preferred)
