**Details**:As a Family Time Coach you will provide fully engaging supervised and/or supported visits with children, siblings and their parents/caregivers. This service provides the opportunity for children with mental health disorders and complex behaviours to be picked up from their current home and transported by vehicle to a scheduled visitation location in the community. While in the vehicle, the Coach will utilize appropriate early childhood development activities to build a strong, healthy relationship with children and support their development during the transition to and from the visitation with the parents/guardians. During the visits the Family Time Coach will be a facilitator of a safe and supportive learning environment for children and their parents/guardians to work on their relationship and potential reunification.

**Hours**: Currently looking to hire for full-time and part-time positions

**Full-Time** - 40 hours per week; benefits included, this position requires a flexible work schedule that includes days, evenings, and an emphasis on weekends which is reflective of family needs.

**Part-Time** - 22 hours per week; benefits included, this position requires a flexible work schedule that includes days, evenings, and an emphasis on weekends which is reflective of family needs.

¨ Six (6) months of directly related experience in youth/family work

¨ Equivalencies may be considered

¨ Police Information Check; including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)

¨ Children Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)

¨ Valid Class 5 drivers license, current drivers abstract, reliable vehicle and auto insurance

¨ Emergency First Aid-Level C CPR + AED

¨ Experience with coaching and supporting parent child interactions

¨ Training in Relationship Based Practice, Child In Relationship, Kids Have Stress Too, Early Brain Development and Trauma Informed Practice are assets

¨ Knowledge of child development, parenting skills, mental health disorders and complex behaviours

¨ Organizational skills and ability to prioritize

¨ Excellent verbal and written communication skills

¨ Working knowledge of MS Office, with experience in Excel and database systems

¨ Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work alone and in a team environment

**Starting Rate of Pay**: $22.54-$25.38 per hour; depending on experience and education
