Foreman Carpentry

**Responsibilities**:

- Read blueprints, drawings, and plans to determine project specifications
- Determine the materials and tools required for each project
- Ensure that all work is completed in compliance with building codes and safety regulations
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials according to project requirements
- Build and install structures such as walls, roofs, floors, and decks
- Fit and install doors, windows, staircases, and other fixtures
- Oversee and direct the work of apprentices and other construction workers
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored
- Communicate with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure project success
- Develop project schedules and budgets, and track progress against these targets
- Coordinate with other trades and subcontractors as required to complete projects
- Identify and address any issues or problems that arise during the course of a project

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in carpentry, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or leadership role
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and plans
- Knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that all deadlines and budgets are met
- Attention to detail, with a focus on quality and safety
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address issues quickly and effectively
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
