- **Position Overview**:_
ACQBUILT is seeking a Mobile Crane / Boom Truck Operator to work in and around the Edmonton Area. As a member of the Logistics Department, the Mobile Crane / Boom Truck Operator is accountable and responsible for the safe operation of their equipment. They operate either a Grove TMS 500E, Manitex 40T or 50T in residential neighborhoods hoisting panels to build wood structured single family, row housing, or condo units.
- **Core Duties and Responsibilities**:_
- Drive and operate mobile cranes or boom trucks.
- Ensure equipment is cared for and preventative maintenance schedules are followed.
- Maintain a legal Driver’s logbook.
- Proper, legal load securement.
- Complete pre and post trip inspections and correct or report all defects immediately.
- Perform minor repairs, ensure equipment is greased properly.
- Adhere to all safety standards in the workplace.
- **Requirements**:_
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Mobile Crane Journeyman ticket will consider 3rd and 4th year apprentices.
- Valid Class 1 Driver’s license.
- Good communication skills.
- Teamwork oriented - ability to pitch in and work with the ground crews as required.
- Ability to work at heights.
- Problem solving skills.
- Construction knowledge and experience is an asset.

**Salary**: $40.00-$50.00 per hour
