**NCSG Crane & Heavy Haul Services Ltd.** is currently recruiting for a **Crane & Rigging Foreman **to join our team in **Fort St John, BC.** The Crane and Rigging Foreman is responsible for coordinating and directing all aspects of crane operations. The Foreman will support the branch with enforcing all company and a client policies, practices and procedures, act as a liaison between customers and the company and identifies potential business expansion and new business opportunities with existing and potential customers. **Why Join Our Team?**

**Your success will be defined by your ability to**:
- Assumes responsibility for ensuring the effective on-site management of company operations.
- Supervises daily operational activities for assigned work areas. Ensures work activities are performed in a safe, productive, and efficient manner.
- Reviews lift evaluations and FLRA’s daily to ensure all hazards are identified and mitigated. Coordinates lift studies as required.
- Should have the ability to scale out jobs and lifts as required to supply the Engineering department with accurate and timely information.
- Ensures all required paperwork including but not limited to; time sheets, FLRA’s, work orders, maintenance requests are completed and submitted in a timely manner with any required company and or client signatures.
- Managing emergency situations in accordance with NCSG policies and procedures.
- Assist with accident investigation and coordinate with the lead investigator to resolve issues and establish adequate corrective actions as required.
- Insure that mentoring and developing younger operators and apprentices is ongoing.
- Represents the company as a liaison to help resolve any customer, employee, or contractor concerns in a professional manner. Ensures all site rules are communicated to employees and always adhered to.

- Strong analytical skills and sound judgment to make decisions based on information, with a key focus on execution.

**Qualifications**:
- **Journeyman Crane Operator ticket required.**:
- **Minimum 1 year of experience in a supervisory or leadership role.**:
- **Class 1 License preferred.**:
- **Must be a current member or willing to become a member of Local 115.**:
- Strong knowledge of AT, RT and crawler crane functions, capabilities, standards, assembling and disassembling cranes would be an asset.
- Crane operating or maintenance experience is required.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems and translate customer needs into business and service requirements;
- Strong analytical skills; ability to look at situations from multiple points of views;
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook and the ability to learn new systems as required by internal needs or customer requirements;
- Safety conscious attitude and leadership style.
